Product Warranty

This limited warranty only covers North American sold products distributed by Artech Electronics Ltd. (hereafter referred as “Artech”). Products purchased elsewhere are not covered. In order for warranty to be valid, you must retain the ORIGINAL sales receipt or invoice.

What the Warranty Covers:

This warranty covers all defects in material and workmanship under normal use and service for the stated warranty period. It does not cover products used in a commercial application. Artech’s obligation under this warranty shall be limited to the replacement or repair of any part or parts that Artech shall examine and deem to be defective. Transportation and/or shipping costs are not included in the terms of this warranty. Artech will not be responsible for defects caused by accidental damage, damage in transit, improper testing or operation, alteration, vandalism, neglect, misuse, abuse or environmental damage. There are no warranties other than those expressly set forth herein.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

1. LIMITED WARRANTY

Artech warrants the product designated herein to be free of manufacturing defects in material and workmanship, subject to the conditions set forth herein for the designated period from the date of purchase by the original purchaser. 

2. CONDITIONS
This warranty is subject to the following conditions and limitations. The warranty is void and inapplicable if the product has been used or handled other than in accordance with the instructions in the owner’s manual, abused or misused, damaged by accident or neglect or in being transported incorrectly, or the defect is due to the product being repaired or tampered with or modified by anyone other than Artech or an authorized Artech Repair Center. The product must be shipped in the original packing and returned to Artech or an authorized Artech Repair Center by the customer at his or her sole expense. Should Artech have to re-package any item in new, factory packaging to prevent damge during return transportation, the cost if any will be borne by the customer. Artech will pay return shipping of its choice. A written description of the defect and a photocopy of the original receipt must accompany returned items. The purchase receipt must clearly list model AND SERIAL NUMBER, date of purchase, the name and address of the purchaser and authorized Artech Dealer as well as the price paid by the purchaser. Artech and its suppliers or manufacturers reserve the right to modify the design of any product without obligation to purchasers of previously manufactured or sold products and to change the prices or specifications of any product without notice or obligation.

3. REMEDY
In the event that a warranted product fails to meet the above warranty conditions and the above Conditions have been met, the purchaser’s sole remedy under this Limited Warranty shall be to return the product to Artech or an authorized Artech Repair Center where the defect will be rectified without charge for parts or labor. 4. LIMITED TO ORIGINAL PURCHASER
This warranty is for the sole benefit of the original purchaser of the covered product and may not be transferred to a subsequent purchaser of the product.

5. DURATION OF WARRANTY

Products are warranted to the original user for the following periods:

· Orbe, Orbe SE decks - 5 years

· GyroDec, Gyro SE decks - 3 Years

· Tonearms – 1 year

· Electronics – (Power supplies, phono stages)  – 1 year

· Replacement parts – 90 days

Items that are repaired or replaced under the terms of the warranty will not have their warranty term extended beyond the original stated warranty duration.

6. DRIVE BELT
Drive belt wear is not covered by this warranty.

7. MISCELLANEOUS

ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES RELATING TO THE ABOVE PRODUCTS SHALL BE LIMITED TO THE DURATION OF THIS WARRANTY. THE WARRANTY DOES NOT EXTEND TO ANY INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL COSTS OR DAMAGE TO THE PURCHASER. In USA, some states do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts or exclusion or limitations of incidental or consequential damages. So the above limitations or exclusions may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you many also have other rights that vary from state to state.
